Great food and friendly service!

Went for breakfast and found bacon not only looked better cooked to perfection & tasted great, according to my friend. Eggs looked & tasted great & cooked to perfection. Toast was excellent 😋. Service is friendly & quick. Found a new place so no more Denny's for us.

I have a culinary arts degree and am a teacher in Arizona for culinary arts the food there was great and the salad dressing was homemade and delicious the staff was courteous and helpful and the owner was a delight to talk to

Will return, ribeye steak was excellent first visit. Ordered a medium well both times, second time it was well done and dry. Still had good taste.

Ordered bacon cheese burger and onion rings. What I got looked and tasted worse that cheap church food at an auction. Bun was the cheapest white bread bun you could buy. Meat was cheap "kroger" 60%beef 40%soy tasted more like a soy burger than a beef burger. Gave me half a strip of over cooked bacon on top of the knock off brand of a craft cheese slice. Onion rings also cheap "kroger" store bought. Would have complained if there wasn't a "ashes of problem customers" jar and a posted sign "Don't complain about the coffie you too might be old and weak some day." The lack of the southern hospitality really shows at this establishment compared to the 30+ other establishments within 3 miles. Heard good things about the pie but wasn't gonna spend anymore money with your top center item on their lunch menu being such a downer. Never going back. No wonder the close at 1pm.

Finally I have found somewhere in Vincennes that makes a delicious breakfast meal. Definitely the best sausage gravy in town.

Excellent service and great food cooked to perfection. Their coconut cream pie is very good and overall their prices are competitive and affordable. The only downside is not enough seating sometimes but certainly worth the wait.

If you like the enviroment of an old diner in a small town, then this is the place for you. I love this place. There is good food, and great service. Great place to wake up at a good price.

Love to eat breakfast or lunch here. All the food is fresh and homemade. Pies are awesome and also homemade. Services are very good and friendly. I always feel at home here. Very friendly with great and always fresh food.

Love hole in the wall diners like this. This one was bad. Maybe we got there at a bad day, but food was so so. Worst was the service. If your waitress is sick, don't let her work and cough all over the place.We were in a time crunch or we wouldn't have stayed...... I think we got the cold/flu from that waitress. Thanks.PS: This was from a visit November 2014. The owner contacted me and apologized and said they added staff for Saturdays. Nice of them to respond, so if we are in town again will try it again.

I really liked the coffee and environment of the place, the waitress was nice, the building looked old but very cozy and felt like home on the inside, the pancakes were a little dry so I unfortunately wasn't able to finish them. Overall a feel good diner that reminds me of how grandma made her food.

Food was good,staff was friendly, atmosphere was ok,,there was one gentleman that wanted the whole place to hear what he was saying,,we ordered one of the specials which was chicken n dumplings,was delicious

In town for basketball at the University. Found this little cafe and it was delicious! Nice, quiet little place with pleasant staff. If I'm ever back this way from Central Illinois I will definitely be back 👍

Actually, No stars. See those lovely pictures of pie. Don’t expect to have a piece unless you pay for a meal first! They only sell desserts to their “regular” customers! Too bad they don’t want any new regular customers!

best diner in the world! The service was the best and to top it off i even got to HUG the owner!!! That handsome handsome diner boy and his beautiful ball n chain made me feel like i was part of the family. Highly recommend the apple pie and the beef Manhattan its a special!!

Just ate here last week and the food and staff were amazing! I ordered a double cheeseburger and it was so big I couldn't finish it! There prices are very reasonable and the regular customers are very nice and talkative which makes for a great atmosphere
